The Dual Master’s Degree in Information Technology and Cybersecurity consists of a total of 51 academic credits to be completed in 5 semesters. The program structure has been designed for students to take 9 credits per semester during the first 3 semesters, and 12 credits per semester during the last 2 semesters.

Information Security Analyst: Responsible for protecting an organization’s computer systems and networks. They monitor networks for security breaches, investigate incidents, and install software to protect data.
Cybersecurity Consultant: Provides expert advice to organizations on how to protect their computer systems and networks from cyber threats. They assess security risks, develop security strategies, and implement security solutions.
Network Security Engineer: Designs, implements, and maintains secure network infrastructures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats. They configure firewalls, routers, and other network devices to ensure network security.
IT Security Manager: Oversees an organization’s overall information security program. They develop security policies and procedures, manage security audits and assessments, and ensure compliance with security regulations and standards.
Systems Security Administrator: Manages and maintains the security of an organization’s computer systems. They install and configure security software, monitor system logs for suspicious activity, and respond to security incidents.
Penetration Tester (Ethical Hacker): Conducts authorized simulated cyber attacks on an organization’s systems to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses. They assess the effectiveness of existing security measures and recommend improvements.
Incident Response Analyst: Responds to and investigates security incidents such as data breaches, malware infections, and insider threats. They analyze security logs, contain security breaches, and implement measures to prevent future incidents.
Security Architect: Designs and builds secure IT architectures and systems to protect against cyber threats. They develop security models, define security requirements, and ensure that security controls are integrated into the design of IT systems.
Cybersecurity Risk Analyst: Assesses and manages cybersecurity risks within an organization. They identify and prioritize security risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and recommend security controls to minimize risk exposure.
Cryptographer: Develops cryptographic algorithms and protocols to secure data transmission and storage. They design encryption algorithms, analyze cryptographic systems for vulnerabilities, and implement cryptographic solutions.
Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst: Monitors and analyzes security alerts and incidents in a SOC. They investigate security events, escalate incidents as necessary, and coordinate incident response efforts.
Digital Forensics Analyst: Investigates cyber crimes and security incidents by collecting and analyzing digital evidence. They use forensic tools and techniques to recover and analyze data from computers, networks, and other digital devices.
IT Auditor (Specializing in Security): Evaluates the effectiveness of an organization’s IT security controls and practices. They assess compliance with security policies and regulations, identify security gaps, and recommend improvements.
Compliance Analyst: Ensures that an organization complies with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards. They monitor compliance requirements, conduct audits and assessments, and implement controls to address compliance gaps.
