Atlantis University’s Master’s in Hospitality Management focuses on the development of professional and academic skills that will give industry professionals the competitive edge for leadership and excellence in the challenging field of hospitality and tourism.
The international curriculum of our master’s program is strengthened by the continuous updating of best practices and trends imposed by one of the world’s all-time tourism and entertainment meccas: Miami.
Our program provides a vast amount of advanced knowledge in local and international travel, tourism, hospitality, entertainment, and mega-event management while developing management skills, leadership, effective decision-making, human resource, technology management skills, and the necessary acumen expected in the hotel management industry.
The Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management has a total of 36 academic credits to be completed in 4 semesters with the option to select one of the 3 concentrations to specialize in the participant’s area of interest. The structure of the program has been designed for students to take 9 credits per semester.
We have multidisciplinary departments dedicated exclusively to helping our students develop soft-skills, interpersonal skills and position themselves in the industry of their choice with employment commensurate with their academic achievements and particular strengths. Tour Guide: Tour guides prepare itineraries and offer private or public tours of popular towns, museums, historical sights or other areas of interest. Tour guides often have extensive knowledge on individual locales and are able to answer questions that pertain to their specific tour.
Marketing and Public Relations: A career in Marketing and PR can be connected to both hospitality and tourism based upon the needs of the industry. Marketing and Public Relations are important to a destination because a positive name in the press can impact the number of people traveling to a touristy town, hotel or other sightseeing area.
Event Manager: Event managers are responsible for planning, promoting and ensuring the smooth running of an event schedule and individual events.
Conference Organizer: These types of organizers can be hired in-house by a venue to arrange seating, keynote speaker necessities, day-of itineraries and more for a conference, trade show, expo or other event.
