Program Competencies

The Master in Healthcare Management has 31 competency domains.

The competencies are grouped into four areas: Management & Leadership, Critical Thinking, Analysis, & Problem Solving, Communication and Interpersonal Effectiveness and Professionalism & Ethics.


Student Learning the Master in Healthcare Management, is central focus of graduate education and is driven by program’s mission and the employment settings of its graduates.

The program able to articulate the expected competencies of program graduates. These competencies should be driven by the mission; form the basis of the programs curriculum; serve to link course content in pursuit of competencies; and foster appropriate levels of teaching and methods of assessment.
