Program Description
AUProgramUpdates is a text messaging program operated by Atlantis University. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring SMS messages from Atlantis University related to admissions, application updates, incomplete application reminders, missing document reminders, appointment reminders, enrollment onboarding, program information related to your inquiry or application, student and alumni support, and follow-up communications.
Messages may be sent to prospective students, applicants, leads, active students, former students, and alumni who have opted in to receive SMS communications from Atlantis University.
Important Scope Limitation
AUProgramUpdates is not intended for third-party marketing.
Opt-In
You may opt in to receive AUProgramUpdates SMS messages by providing your mobile phone number through an Atlantis University website form, application portal, landing page, event form, CRM form, social media channel, or other authorized Atlantis University communication channel where SMS consent is requested.
The SMS consent checkbox will not be pre-selected. You must affirmatively choose to opt in.
Optional Consent
Consent to receive SMS messages is optional and is not a condition of purchase, application, enrollment, or receiving services from Atlantis University.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your inquiry status, application status, student status, communication preferences, activity, and interactions with Atlantis University. You may receive automated replies when you interact with Atlantis University by SMS. If you start an application and do not complete it, Atlantis University may send reminders, including up to three daily reminders after inactivity, followed by less frequent follow-up messages such as weekly or monthly reminders, unless you respond, complete the relevant step, or opt out. Appointment, document, enrollment, and support messages may vary based on your activity and relationship with Atlantis University.
Payment-Related Application Reminders
AUProgramUpdates may include non-sensitive reminders to complete application or enrollment payment steps. These messages should not include financial account numbers, card data, account balances, debt collection language, or other sensitive financial information.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply to each message sent or received, according to your mobile service plan.
HELP Instructions
For help, reply HELP to any message from AUProgramUpdates. You may also contact Atlantis University at admissions@atlantisuniversity.edu.
Support is generally available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time, excluding holidays and university closures. Support is available in English and Spanish.
STOP Instructions
You may cancel AUProgramUpdates SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After replying STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and no further AUProgramUpdates SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again. Atlantis University may also support standard opt-out keywords such as STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, STOPALL, REVOKE, and OPTOUT, depending on Twilio configuration.
Re-Opt-In
If you unsubscribe and later wish to receive AUProgramUpdates SMS messages again, you may opt in again through an authorized Atlantis University form, application portal, landing page, or other approved communication channel where SMS consent is requested. If Atlantis University configures and validates START or UNSTOP for short code 28625, you may also be able to re-subscribe by replying START or UNSTOP.
Supported Carriers
SMS message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s network availability and service coverage.
Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
